TED-shouldn't-Talk.
Honestly, if it wasn't required for us to watch TEDTalk videos I would probably never would. The content of these videos were somewhat interesting but the way they were presented was terrible. I don't feel they grab your attention at all which if I am not mistaken is the first thing you should do when presenting. Just not for me. StumbleUpon, however, I could sit for hours and look through. I guess it is all about personal preference.

Ninja
So I tried to find a podcast that was humorous and pretty popular since I have never listened/watched one ever. I chose Ask a Ninja because according to my research in 2007 Forbes listed "The Ninja" as one of the top fictional celebrities on the web. When I got to his website I like how user-friendly it was to find all of their videos and link to different sites that they are on (Facebook, Twitter etc). If you need a laugh, you should watch these!

Bottoms up.
I picked this blog because I thought it was amusing how predictable we are as a whole. It opened my eyes to many different aspects of life that I never really gave much thought.
#1 Coffee - I can vouch for how true this post is because just this morning my roommate said that, even if she had to be late for class, she had to get a coffee. Whenever I am hanging around a bunch of friends (usually girls) or even shopping we always have coffee being made or purchasing some from the closest shop. Everyone needs something to wake them up!

And it begins...
My name is Ashley Faria and I am a senior which ultimately means I will be graduating in May. I am from Rhode Island and grew up in a big family. Although I cannot spend enough time with them, being at school is also a nice break. I am an Accounting/Finance major and I took this class because I wanted to really grasp the complete understanding of social media and how it is evolving. I do believe that soon this course will be core to graduate because it is taking over businesses, as well as homes, everywhere. This should be interesting.
